The top 2 Indian Unicorns by value are Swiggy and (not so surprisingly, given the cricket craziness) Dream 11, worth US$8 Billion each, followed closely by Razor Pay, currently valued at $7.5 million.

According to Hurun (Global Wealth Tracking Institution), Aerospace is one sector where India lags significantly, and the US and China already have 10 Unicorns each. Other sectors India needs to catch up in are AI, New Energy, and Semiconductors. The recent announcements by the GOI to focus on all three of these as the future north stars is an excellent sign
