Indian Startups Raise $2.3 Billion in Q1 2024

As per the GlobalData report, Indian startups witnessed a slight dip in VC funding activity in Q1 2024 with 288 deals amounting to $2.3 billion compared to the previous year's $2.4 billion in Q1 2023, despite similar deal volumes. However, there were bright spots, including consecutive monthly growth in funding values and the emergence of two new unicorns, Krutrim and Perfios. Notable deals included Meesho's $300 million fundraising and Pocket FM securing $103 million. India maintains its position as a key global market, ranking among the top five for both deal volume and value?in?Q1?2024.
