1) Adani Group Commits $10 Billion to U.S. Energy Amid Trump Victory, Targeting Job Growth and Infrastructure. India’s Adani Group has announced a $10 billion investment in U.S. energy security and infrastructure projects, anticipated to create up to 15,000 jobs. Chairman Gautam Adani shared the news on platform X, extending congratulations to U.S. President-elect Donald Trump. This move aligns with Trump’s policy promises to facilitate energy expansion and pipeline construction. Adani's announcement follows scrutiny from Hindenburg Research in early 2023, which accused the group of financial improprieties leading to significant market impacts.

2) Kotak Mahindra Bank Seeks Digital Pioneers to Revolutionize Financial Communication. Kotak Mahindra Bank is calling for digital creative agencies to redefine financial communication for aspirational India. The bank’s RFP invites partners with bold, innovative ideas in digital innovation, social media, and creative content to make finance relatable and impactful. Kotak’s Executive VP of Marketing, Kedarswamy Ravangave, emphasizes the vision of a data-driven, trend-setting approach to engage modern consumers. Interested agencies should submit their visionary marketing proposals, credentials, and case studies by November 22, 2024, for a chance to reshape finance in the digital age.

3) Urban Indians Acknowledge Climate Change but Lack Urgency for Immediate Action, Ipsos Survey Reveals. A global Ipsos survey highlights that while urban Indians believe in collective responsibility for climate action, many see its impacts as distant and are hesitant to change personal behaviors. Two-thirds feel developed nations should lead the charge, and 77% agree small personal actions could help—yet misconceptions persist on major climate contributors, with most incorrectly ranking ozone depletion as top. Financial incentives and better information access were identified as key motivators for change. Ipsos CEO Amit Adarkar calls for more awareness on impactful actions needed to counter climate risks.
