You will find men and women from every community, region, creed and caste in them. From Jammu & Kashmir to Tamil Nadu, from Gujarat to Manipur. From the followers of Hinduism, Islam, Christianity, Sikhism and many other faiths. From all castes. If we divide our country into language groups, religious groups, castes and communities, we dishonour our braves. We can either be a part of the problem by focussing on divisions, or we can be a part of the solution. The highest truth that we must all honour, is that first and foremost, we are Indians.

As one of our ancient scriptures said so beautifully, north of the oceans, and south of the Himalayas, is the noble nation called Bharat. Our identity extends back into the ageless past. We have added many beautiful layers to it over time. And we will endure long into the future. We will not only survive, we will thrive. More importantly, we will do it together.
