Remember Shakira’s Try Everything movie Zootopia. Do you remember how Judy and Nick met? Nick was a hustler, in the land where anyone can be anything. Judy was there to be an officer and he was there to survive his days with the tag of a sly fox. I was so amazed at the scene when he buys a Jumbo ice cream from the elephant shop and sells it as his own popsicles. Funny but that small incident taught me how clever foxes are for real or maybe thinking out of the box can solve any problem, be it trivial or entrepreneurial. This is what Design thinking is, hearing the name for the first time, don’t you worry, my little nugget. I have got your back.?

What is Design Thinking and What is the future of Design thinking going to be like?

Design Thinking can easily be said to be outside-the-box thinking, the enterprise or entrepreneur mainly uses it to understand the needs of their consumer or target audience, understood? Be like Nick and find the answers to the problems of society.?

Main Components of Design Thinking

Anyone who sits down to discuss design thinking’s components has to have design thinking themselves, funny? Ahh no! Understanding the users?

The first one has got to be to understand your users. Your users should be your no.1 priority. Design thinking asks you to empathize with your audience, empathize as in, you feel their problem, that way you will be able to get their problem and then will process it further.?

Creative Thinking?

Now, you need your heart to stop working (not literally, no) and switch on your brain, you need to brainstorm a lot to find the solution to all of your users’ problems. You need to be the best of help to your users and have the power of producing their solution.?

Action-oriented?

Once you have the idea set up in your brain or you have the solution to their problems, it is time to make it a complete product or service to become the bridge between your users and the answer.?

Design thinking is not only for the entrepreneur, anyone can practice this. In fact, it should be an everyday thing for people to practice design thinking to get their tasks done. Go ahead, think of the problem around, then think of the ideas and answers to it and once you are satisfied with one of the solutions, bring it to action.?

Design Thinking is a broader aspect. It is in the market to play big and solve the major problem of the consumers. We are the builders of the new India and design thinking is going to be of big help. You are going to witness various jobs in the same field and the world is for sure going to appreciate your talent for design thinking.?

I think you’ll agree with me when I say: every day we hear, someone is launching a new start-up, and come on, there are about 80 new startups getting registered in India everyday. The increase in start-ups at this speed, demands the additional need of design thinkers too. All of us face some or other kind of business hurdle on a daily basis and we need someone to provide us with an immediate solution to all of them, this is where design thinking enters the game. We need it and that’s for sure, so why not have a look over how are we embracing it:
