INDIA A LAND OF PARADOXES ! PONDER ! FAIR INDIA / JUST INDIA ?!

At the very outset, this is an unbiased write-up of an observer who is seeing the LIGHT IN TWO APPROACHES FOR A SOVEREIGN DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC TO THRIVE IN ''NEW INDIA''!

THE FIGHT FOR JUSTICE IS FILLED WITH ALL THE DEBATES AROUND 'RIGHT & WRONG' , 'FAIRNESS & UNFAIRNESS', 'BIAS , LIES & TRUTH' , 'CONTRADICTIONS, CONFUSIONS AND EVEN CLARITY'!!!

ALL OF THE ABOVE INDEED !!! AND LOADS OF TRAUMA AND DRAMA ! LET'S LOOK AT THE ''BIGGER PICTURE''!

I was pondering over ''FREEDOM OF SPEECH'' and stumbled upon the following article which I am sharing in the link below:

Does Prashant Bhushan's refusal to apologize put him in the same league as Gandhi & Mandela ?

At the very outset, I affirmatively, see nothing wrong in Prashant Bhushan's approach. Having said that, I have made an observation of the very many CRITICS not just pertaining to Bhushan but the CRITICS of Arnab Goswami and his overall style . I do see why certain folks say that, Arnab Goswami has somehow turned out to be biased ( post his exit from TIMES NOW ) and after setting up REPUBLIC . Irrespective, people pointing fingers at PRASHANT BHUSHAN OR ARNAB GOSWAMI ARE BOTH MISSING THE ''BIGGER PICTURE'' !

Was Arnab's dramatic overreaction to Bhushan needed over last night's debate? Or is Bhusan being dramatic as declared by some, as he has always been so ?

Park the BIAS aside towards any of these parties and you will see something beyond the obvious. The deeper reason behind what looks like a bias is something that ONLY WISE ONES CAN SEE- Cut the 'Drama' !

It is very simple, if one looks at it from Arnab's shoes, with a sense of prudence, we all are left with only ONE COURT OF THE HIGHEST ORDER here in India - It is tricky! It is like saying, 'Will handing over a case to CBI bring justice or injustice ?' We all know that fighting in the 'Supreme Court for Justice' is final in this land ! There is nothing beyond that as a nation, we can go to BUT GOD FOR JUSTICE ! You cannot approach FINLAND OR AMERICA to give you justice in your land ! It is finally the SUPERNATURAL that needs to take over in your PLEA FOR JUSTICE ON THIS EARTH IN ANY LAND/ NATION for that matter !

In the INDIAN CONTEXT...

CBI and the Supreme Court are the only final doors to bank on when it comes to criminal justice in this nation whether one likes it or not. Yes, it is a pity and an irony that malpractices could be taking place in the HIGHEST SYSTEM OF NATIONAL JUSTICE - there are ''corrupt and just judges'' both inside the system and there are ''corrupt and just CBI Officers'' and there are corrupt and just professionals and people across all walks of life. Stark Truth !

It is like saying that, it is truly unfair to label all MEN AS RAPISTS. It is truly unfair to label the whole of MEDIA OR THE POLITICAL FRATERNITY AS CORRUPT ! AND IT WOULD BE HOLLOW TO DO SO, WITHOUT FACTS AND EVIDENCE BECAUSE WHEN YOU 'ARE IN YOUR BODY' YOU CANNOT SIMPLY BLABBER FOR THE SAKE OF DOING SO. ON THE CONTRARY, EVEN IF YOU ARE RIGHT WHEN IN THE 'BODY ON THIS EARTH', NOBODY CARES ABOUT WHAT YOUR INTUITION SAYS UNLESS YOU ARE ABLE TO PROVE IT IN THE 'FIGHT FOR JUSTICE' !

YOU CARE FOR 'YOUR INTUITION ENOUGH' AND YOU BETTER 'ACT ON IT', AND COLLECT EVIDENCE WITH YOUR INTELLECT TO PROVE YOUR INTUITIVE INSIGHTS TO BE TRUE ! So you cannot talk about these things LOOSELY OR FOR THAT MATTER WITH CONVICTION and go about labelling a set of people or a whole system as CORRUPT OR PRISTINE (the path or the language of 'Extremes').

So in all fairness, as I gauge Prashant Bhushan , he is not comparable to a bunch of CITIZENS THAT LOOSELY MAKE REMARKS OR SPEAK MERELY FROM A SPACE OF CYNICISM LIKE THE HERD.Yet, he should know best as to why he said what he said, and I am sure he does. Hopefully, he has thoroughly got his facts together and exercised FREEDOM OF SPEECH WITH THAT CONVICTION . In terms of the 'Bigger Picture & Light' it must be welcomed in a SOVEREIGN DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC LIKE INDIA ! However, in THE HIGHEST COURT OF JUSTICE there could be certain people who are THREATENED AT THE EGO LEVEL BY WHAT HE SAID AND THEN THE ONLY THING DONE IS TO PUNISH AND SHUT A PERSON VOICING OUT INJUSTICE BY, PUTTING HIM BEHIND BARS !

FAIR OR UNFAIR ??? WELL, THIS REMAINS A QUESTION OF INTROSPECTION ! WHY IS IT WRONG IN THE CONTEXT OF ''FREEDOM OF SPEECH'' ?!

Now, coming to Arnab Goswami-Well, there has been a twist in some part of his approach ever since he incorporated REPUBLIC say many observers . Whether he is more aligned with the BJP or not is one subject. Infact, a convincing subject to many that he is aligned and biased because of REPUBLIC AND IT'S CONNECTION WITH THE RULING PARTY BJP. Now, let us keep this aside and again look at THE BIGGER PICTURE ! In the larger context, one must understand that, he as part of MEDIA has to play a balanced role and he is just doing that! In a land where there is so much of diversity, there is both richness and conflicts ! A 'BALANCED APPROACH' TO DEAL WITH IT ALL IS CALLED FOR .

The SUPREME COURT has been fair with Arnab Goswami to do with his issues with Sonia Gandhi and even in his earlier legal battles . In the SSR Campaign too, his modesty to appeal to the Supreme Court calls for appreciation-I would say that, we all as ctizens, have had to be modest in appealing to the Supreme Court for Justice for be it SSR or Nirbhaya or Jessica Lal and in many other cases. Yes, it is quite dramatic and traumatic that in India in Arnab's own words ( at an earlier point in time) he indicated that we have to scream out for truth and justice else nobody listens to you !!!

In short, we have two ways of dealing with JUSTICE -Scream , Shout and Abuse the System- which in all fairness is CAUSE & EFFECT based AND SHOULD NOT BE LOOSELY DONE , as we have observed corruption in the highest courts of justice and in this land in different spheres as a whole.

The second best option is to let us operate from a 'POSITIVE/AFFIRMATIVE STANCE' (to many CYNICAL POEOPLE this may seem like a NAIVE APPROACH) THAT THERE IS ''LIGHT'' EVEN IN THE MIDST OF ''DARKNESS''. The very many may term this approach as a philosophical one and not a practical one. Many 'Earthly Pragmatists' forget that there is something known as 'Practical Philosophy' that works too. ONE HAS TO CHANGE ONE'S LENS , IN ORDER TO SEE THIS 'PRACTICAL PHILOSOPHY' MANIFEST !

If there are DARK STRETCHES AND PATCHES IN THE HIGHEST SYSTEM OF JUSTICE IN INDIA , THERE IS ALSO LIGHT DAWNING IN THIS VERY SYSTEM OF JUSTICE . :-)

To be cynical or hopeful is in our hands ? In 'Quantum Science' it is depicted as 'The Law of Vibration' ! I would say Arnab is simply being EMOTIONALLY AND SPIRITUALLY INTELLIGENT in the larger context !

On one hand in all FAIRNESS, Prashanth Bhushan is right when it comes to his FREEDOM OF SPEECH ! And this man deserves JUSTICE AND NOT AN UNJUST STAY IN JAIL FOR WHAT HE SAID AS THERE ARE SEVERAL HEINOUS CRIMINALS WALKING FREE . SHOULD THE COURTS NOT BE FOUSING ON THOSE CRIMINALS WHO HAVE COMMITTED DASTARDLY ACTS OF SIN AND CRIME THAN BE JUVENILE IN ASKING HIM TO APOLOGIZE ? IT WOULD INDEED, BE RIDICULOUS TO HAVE SOMEONE LIKE HIM INSIDE JAIL-AN ACTIVIST OF THIS 'NATURE' DOES NOT DESERVE TO APOLOGIZE OR BE SHAMED OR TAMED BY BEING JAILED .IF THIS IS DONE, HOW DIFFERENT WOULD WE BE AS A DEMOCRACY TODAY , FROM THE WAY IN WHICH THE BRITISH TREATED US WHEN WE VOICED OUT INJUSTICE IN THOSE DAYS? WHAT DID THEY DO? THEY GOT SUCH PEOPLE JAILED OR KILLED ! PERIOD! IS THIS THE 'NEW INDIA' WE ARE TALKING ABOUT ?!

On the other hand, while Arnab Goswami may seem biased to many , I am able to see light once again, even here as he is taking a BALANCED PATH IN THE MIDST OF IMBALANCE, CHAOS AND CONFUSION unlike an EXTREME STANCE as adopted by Prashant Bhushan.

Sometimes being AFFIRMATIVE works BRILLIANCE, WONDERS, MIRACLES INSTEAD OF A HARD ENDED REVOLT ....IT IS LIKE SAYING 'PEACE TALKS' VERSUS 'WAR' WITH THE ENEMY !

IF ARNAB ALSO LABELS THE HIGHEST COURT AS CORRUPT WHAT CAN HAPPEN ? IS HIS AFFIRMATIVE MOVEMENT FOR TRUTH, CLEANING UP INDIA, THE EMERGENCE OF NEW INDIA, THE TRUE FIGHT FOR JUSTICE GOING TO SUSTAIN? IT CAN END WITH HIM BEING BEHIND BARS FOREVER!

SO, LIKE THEY SAY LOVE, AFFIRMATIVE PLEAS, POSITIVE PATS WORK WONDERS. It is my personal experience with the POLICE FORCE IN THE NATIONAL CAPITAL OF THIS NATION.I RECEIVED 'QUICK JUSTICE' FOR THE TRUTH AND FAIR LEGAL POINTS THAT I RAISED AFFIRMATIVELY, FIRMLY AND POWERFULLY ( NOT FEEBLY.I COMMANDED IT NOT DEMANDED IT OR EVEN BEGGED OR BRIBED ANY- I DID IT USING BOTH 'INTELLECT & INTUITION' !). THERE IS ''LIGHT IN THE MIDST OF DARKNESS'' FOR THOSE WHO CAN SEE IT ! :-) I WAS GIVEN 'GRAND HUMAN TREATMENT BY THE POLICE' AND I EVEN HAD THE POLICE TO PROTECT ME AND THE SO CALLED SENIOR PROFESSIONAL CULPRIT TURNED INTO A 'MOUSE'. HE WAS CLEARLY GUILTY !THERE WAS LEGAL EVIDENCE PROVING HIM GUILTY AND FIRM AND BOLD EYE WITNESSES THAT NEVER TURNED HOSTILE TILL THE LAST MINUTE.

WHEN YOU BELIEVE IN A HIGHER POWER , YOU ARE ABLE TO COCREATE WITH THE UNIVERSE -A WINNING AND RIGHTEOUS OUTCOME IS CERTAIN. YOUR 'AURA' DRAWS IT ! LIFE AND THE UNIVERSE SUPPORTS YOU, IT SUPPORTS MANY ON THE RIGHT TRACK ! THE COURTS OF JUSTICE OPEN DOORS TO ''FAIRNESS''.THERE IS GOODNESS INSIDE TOO- THE DIVINE WORKS THROUGH THE SYSTEM TOO ! REMEMBER WHERE 'DEMONS' RESIDE THE 'DIVINE' TOO RESIDES ! WHAT YOU BELIEVE IN , IS WHAT ULTIMATELY MANIFESTS !

SO WHY FIGHT WITH CYNICISM BUT TRY LOVE, TRY AN AFFIRMATIVE APPROACH FIRST ?! WHEN THERE IS SO MUCH OF FILTH, CARCASS AROUND, ALWAYS A BATTLE AS A FIRST STEP, DOES NOT WORK AS PART OF THE 'CLEANSING PROCESS'. AN EXTREME REVOLT MAY ONLY ANGER THE 'SATANIC FORCES' INSIDE THE SYSTEM. INSTEAD, WHAT IF I SAY THE SAME THING SUBTLY RATHER MORE AFFIRMATIVELY AND GET THE COURTS TO OPEN THEIR DOORS TO ''JUSTICE, FAIRNESS, RIGHTEOUSNESS'' IN THE BATTLE FOR JUSTICE, FREEDOM, TRUTH AND RIGHTEOUSNESS !

So in short, I see nothing wrong in Prashanth Bhushan's stance - he reminds me of a 'KRANTIKARI WARRIOR (IN THE METAPHORIC SENSE) IN THE INDIAN FREEDOM STRUGGLE MOVEMENT.'

While, I see nothing wrong in Arnab Goswami's approach (which seems LIKE THE FIRM PEACE WARRIOR STYLE IN THE INDIAN FREEDOM STRUGGLE MOVEMENT ) too especially in this context. He seems to be standing in favor of the Supreme Court and the Highest Courts of Justice not from a biased standpoint but a more balanced and affirmative stanpoint of HOPE ! Honestly, we need both STYLES FOR THE SOVEREIGN DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF INDIA NOT JUST TO SURVIVE BUT TO THRIVE AND RATHER SUSTAIN !

WE ARE IN THE PROCESS OF ''CLEANING UP INDIA ALL OVER'' ! IF YOU PONDER OVER 'THE BIGGER PICTURE' - 'SWACH BHARTH' IS NOT NECESSARILY CONFINED ONLY TO CLEANING UP THE STREETS OF INDIA BUT CLEANING UP EACH ONE OF US FROM 'THE INSIDE OUT'-CLEANING UP THE ACTS OF INJUSTICE EVEN IF WE DID NOT DIRECTLY CONTRIBUTE TO IT . WE HAVE LET IT HAPPEN IN THIS LAND !

ONE WAY TO FIGHT IT IS, IN PRASHANTH BHUSHAN'S STYLE AND ANOTHER WAY TO FIGHT IT IS, IN A 'BALANCED STYLE' WHERE ONE NEEDS TO HAVE PRUDENCE TO KNOW WHEN TO 'TURN ON THE HEAT' AND WHEN TO BE 'WARM' AND WHEN TO BE 'COLD'.THIS MAY SEEM LIKE A 'DRAMATIC STYLE' BUT THIS IS ARNAB'S STYLE AND MANY OTHER PEOPLE WHO MOVE FROM 'MODERATION TO EXTREME' WHEN NEEDED ADOPT THIS STYLE IN LIFE . CAN'T BE AT AN 'EXTREME' ALL THE TIME (DRIVING IN THE 5TH OR 6TH GEAR ) !MOVING FROM 1ST GEAR TO 6TH GEAR WITH THE 'POWER OF DISCERNEMENT ' IS INDISPENSABLE RATHER, 'THE NEED OF THE HOUR' !

''FREEDOM OF SPEECH'' HAS BECOME VERY CONFUSING AND CONTRADICTORY FOR ALL INDIANS NOW ! THAT IN ITSELF IS A ''BIG DEBATE'' !

India's Freedom from the BRITISH did not manifest with one STYLE -''PEACE WARRIOR STYLE'' ! ''WAR & PEACE'' (Krantikari Movement & Peace Movement) both were essential ! It is important to know when to use which style ! Prudence and Discernment is 'key'!

ONE EXTREME- Do you get a SUPARI KILLER to kill someone who is exercising his or her right to SPEAK THE TRUTH IN WORDS WRITTEN SPOKEN OR IN AFFIRMATIVE / JUST ACTION? PONDER !

SECOND EXTREME - Do you JAIL PEOPLE for raising their voice against INJUSTICE- IN WORDS WITTEN, SPOKEN OR IN TERMS OF AFFIRMATIVE /JUST ACTION ? PONDER !

BOTH EXTREME STEPS MAKE US 'A FALLEN INDIA' ! INDIA, IT IS TIME TO 'RISE' ! INDIA, IT IS TIME TO 'HEAL' ! INDIA , IT IS TIME TO 'TRANSFORM' FOR THE BEST !
