INA SOLAR (INA Solar) receives USD 2.5 million subsidized funding from the Energy Access Relief Fund (EARF) funded by the World Bank, IFC, BII, DFC, FMO and others, and managed by Social Investment Managers and Advisors (SIMA), USA. INA Solar, a reputed #solarpanel manufacturing company from Jaipur, is the first solar panel manufacturing company from Rajasthan to be listed on the BSE SME. At present, INA Solar is named among the 10 best solar companies in India.

The Economic Survey of #maharashtra 2022-23 was presented by the Finance Minister, Devendra Fadanvis, on 8th March 2023. The survey provides an insight into the economic trends in the state and highlights the mobilization of resources and their allocation in the budget.According to the survey, Maharashtra’s installed capacity of renewable energy has increased by 9% in 2022-23 as compared to the previous financial year. This increase has propelled the state to fifth place in the country, with a capacity of 11,400 MW, including 3,352 MW of #solarenergy. Rajasthan, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka states are ahead of Maharashtra in terms of RE installation. Maharashtra has been actively promoting #cleanenergy to ensure affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all.

KPI Green Energy Ltd. - Solarism Limited, a renewable energy construction company, has signed a long-term (20-year) Hybrid Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for 1.845 MWAc capacity with M/s. Garrison Engineer, Military Engineer Services, Air Force Station, Jamnagar under Independent Power Producer (IPP ) segment. KPI Green Energy has been making strides in the #renewableenergy sector. In 2021, the company commissioned a 1 MW #solarpower plant for the Indian Railways in Maharashtra.

The Power Ministry in India has established a task force to provide recommendations on the modernization of the transmission sector and make it smart and future-ready. The committee was chaired by the CMD of POWERGRID and included representatives from State Transmission Utilities, Central Electricity Authority, Central Transmission Utilities, MeiTY, IIT Kanpur, NSGPMU, and EPTA.
