INDIA -- Education empowered by Ethos

In an ancient Marathi quote that mentions “?????? ?????? ?????” I realized that education isn’t enough, it is the ethos that empowers education.

To begin with, let’s understand the chronology here and how the cyclic-concentric-ideology of Indian Manuscripts will lead the world of tomorrow and the generations to come!?

The secret sauce toward institutional success is Design Thinking.??Good design of Ethos and Progress weaved strongly into a unified fabric is what builds the emotional connection between the people and resources.?

Knowledge provides us with Awareness?

Awareness drives Information?

Information grows out to become Intel?

Intelligence leads to Empowerment?

Empowered minds delve deep toward deeper Research?

Research fruits well to improve existing Knowledge?

While it may appear to the learner that the education they are receiving is merely following a set curriculum, every good teacher knows that the design of the teaching must match the needs of their students. Education by design is always destined to be far more successful than education by chance. This applies to all the participants in the learning process.

Most schools and universities have a motto, often incorporated into their logo signifying the core ethos and values of that institution. Sometimes forgotten, a formality, sometimes a farce, the motto continues to stand sentinel to the idea that started the school.

The underlying philosophy will influence how the very lessons are conducted, what resources get more money, and how the teachers and students behave. It trickles down to little things like dress and nails and influences big things like career choices and strength of character

Disruption, which is now a part of the entrepreneurial vernacular, is a term that is thrown around across various sectors and levels. One sector that is yet to accept it in its ethos is Education.

Waiting to be knocked by a disruptive opportunity, this sector has been longing for an innovative approach. With the largest college-age population in the world — close to an overwhelming 138 million, it is astonishing that less than one in five of them is going ahead with post-secondary education as opposed to 90 percent in the USA.?

Tom Freedman, the author of ‘The world is Flat’ mentions comparison between Infosys and Al Qaeda. When I came across the subject, I was awestruck by the thin lines that divide the strong similarities into both entities.?

Infosys and Al Qaeda have so much in common yet are so distinguished from one another. A moment of realization in comparison emerged as here it is –

- Both were youth-driven

- Both had a dedicated workforce

- Both had a global presence?

- Both the above entities have a global supply chain that matches world standards of optimized lean methodology?

- Both qualify in the accuracy of project execution that they can be certified enough to go six-sigma!?

- Both optimally use the Internet, fiber optic telecommunications, and e-mail to develop a global supply chain of smart people that will supreme power their world subjects.??

- Both the organization's founders became Billionaires

- Both changed the fate of the USA?

- Both are fuelled by concrete Mission – Vision – Objective – Goals?

- Both are famous and still have young aspirants eager to join?

Education is a life-transforming tool, not just for entering the next institute or getting a job/ business and then perishing with time.?

?While the world was smitten by inhuman mindsets of atrocities and annexations and conquering geographical limits, India was empowering the mindset and was then known as ‘Jagat Guru’ just how it is today.?

Apart from the fact that we have Indian CEOs leading the global corporate giants, India has always been a symbol of muscle and arsenal strength. You all must have already seen how the USA Military enters India to hunt for Talent and Tactical Training and also simultaneously enters Pakistan to hunt down the Terrorists.?

Currently, India is in the era of ‘Amrit Kaal’ and the upcoming 25 years are the best platform for India to become beyond a superpower. A lot is riding on the way of empowerment and education we install in the coming few generations of young guns in India.?
