According to a report by staffing agency Xpheno , the active job postings from FAANG companies Facebook ( Meta ), 苹果 , 亚马逊 , Netflix and 谷歌 (Alphabet) as well as 微软 are currently under 2,000 in India. Jobs that have been posted by hiring companies in the last four weeks and for which applications are being accepted are active job postings.

Twitter has re-enabled its Twitter Blue sign ups for iOS and web users and replaced the "official" label with a gold checkmark on some business accounts and a blue check on individual accounts.
“we’re baaaack! Twitter Blue is now available for $8/month on the web or $11/month on iOS – we’ve made some upgrades and improvements,”
Twitter Blue tweeted on Monday. Users who subscribe to the paid service will get access to subscriber-only features including Edit Tweet, 1080p video uploads, reader mode, and a blue checkmark.

The United Kingdom recorded the highest number of working days lost to labour disputes in October for more than 10 years, official data showed, as employees went on strike to demand higher pay in the face of soaring #inflation. The data comes as more than 40,000 railway workers begin their latest round of walkouts on Tuesday in a long-running dispute over pay and conditions, causing widespread disruption to the country’s transport network.
New Zealand imposes lifetime ban on youth buying cigarettes
New Zealand passed into law a unique plan to phase out tobacco smoking by imposing a lifetime ban on young people buying cigarettes. The law states that tobacco can’t ever be sold to anybody born on or after Jan. 1, 2009.
It means the minimum age for buying cigarettes will keep going up and up. In theory, somebody trying to buy a pack of cigarettes 50 years from now would need ID to show they were at least 63 years old.
Paytm board approves buyback of equity shares at Rs 810 apiece
Digital financial services firm One97 Communications Limited , which operates under the Paytm brand, on Tuesday announced the buyback of 5,246,913 equity shares at a price not exceeding Rs 810 per share. The buyback of shares will be done through the open market route, according to the exchange filing.
