Independent India@75: Self-reliance with integrity

Observance of yearly Vigilance Awareness Week(VAW) from 26th October to 1st November as a tribute to our great legendry leader Sardar vallabhai Patel, an epitome of unity and integrity, on his birth anniversary on 30th October,2021 by ?the Central Vigilance Commissioner of India as an imperative in prevention of, to fight against corruption collectively and?raising?public awareness towards the existence,causes, and gravity of threat posed by corruption. A country ,s unity and integrity,self -esteem is a matter of pride of all citizens. Sadly, we have yet not eliminated corruption.It remains one of the obstaclestou our natio,sdevelopment,progress and good governance.

Our Prime Minister.Mr.Narendra Modi on 12th May 2020 raised a clarion call to the nation to kick start to the Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan(self – reliant India Compaign). It is an effort to prepare 130 crore citizens of the country independent and self-reliant in all senses.

To bolster the idea of our PM vision and mission, and complements Aadie ka Amrit Mahotsva, CVC decided and directed for observance of VAW in this year aptly choosen theme on the theme of (Independent india@75 Self-reliance with Integrity) which revolves around the mission to make each citizen self-reliant and protecting the integrity of the nation leading to a new India.CVC urges citizens to take integrity pledge as a commitment towards Zero tolerance on corruption and also upholding the highest standards of ethical conduct,honesty and integrity in public life. To show commitment has taken several bold intiatives to inculcate the idea of self-reliance with integrity in daily life. The commission initiativesreach out to the common manthrough various programmesviz. Gram sabha,ecturesmeetings,seminars,competitions,etc.
