PowerPoint Presentation Design Lead / Inhouse Design Studio Lead  

Indegene is scouting for a PowerPoint champion to tell our story in a consistent, cohesive and inspiring way. This candidate is a structured storyteller and creative genius, and builds McKinsey-quality presentations that wow our customers’ CXOs. You will lead the creation of an inhouse Design Studio from scratch. You will build your team, set presentation benchmarks and hire the best talent for your team. You will create stories that appeal and apply directly to customer CXOs and have an immediate business impact. Most importantly, you will work with a bunch of talented folks driven to advance healthcare for all.  

Specifically, you will – 

• Create visually appealing, neat, clean, graphic-rich, high impact PowerPoint presentations that appeal to a CXO audience 
• Design, produce and format memorable PowerPoint presentations from rough slides, hand-drawn sketches, Word documents, emails or images. Create pleasing and effective tables, diagrams, graphs, icons, templates etc. within PowerPoint 
• Understand client personas, their problems we expect to solve, and our solutions from subject matter experts, and build a structured, well-thought out storyline 
• Understand Request For Proposal (RFP) requirements and articulate an inspiring story (not just a compilation of slides) that positions Indegene as the client’s strategic partner 
• Hire and build a team that scales the Design Studio to support all business units. Create presentation benchmarks that wow internal and external clients, set sustainable processes, deliver high quality presentations in time 
• Proof read and rigorously quality check self and team’s presentations to ensure they are hygienically and factually correct; dot the Is, cross the Ts, check for grammar, spellings, fonts, alignment 
• Bring best practices in PowerPoint presentations to bear on our storytelling, coach and mentor team to apply them 
• Uphold Indegene’s brand guidelines and design standards, and demonstrate creativity within the framework 

This candidate demonstrates – 

• Outstanding PowerPoint skills 
• Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat) 
• 8-10 years of experience in PowerPoint and graphic design 
• Excellent sense of modern, inspirational design 
• Keen eye for detail, high standards of first-time right quality 
• Good leadership skills to build a high-performance creative culture, and inspire and motivate a team of designers 
• Ability to work independently and manage highly demanding stakeholders 
• Able to handle time pressure and deliver quality presentations at very short notice with a high degree of uncertainty 
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Graphic Design or Communications or Marketing or Business Administration necessary. Exposure to User Experience (UX / UI) or Design Thinking appreciated. Consulting industry, IT / ITeS and creative / advertising agency experience useful 
• This role is 50% individual contributor and 50% team leader (for one resource) to begin with the potential to expand the team substantially based on immediate impact
