This year I discovered a YouTube hack.
The hack that gets you more views and more revenue on YouTube is hidden here inside my tweet ??
Can you see the hack?
The hack is... USE TWITTER!
Let me explain...
Increasing Your YouTube Views
There are techniques you can use inside YouTube to increase your views (introduce a keyword strategy, improve thumbnails, improve retention).
These techniques are all great, BUT... you could be doing more OUTSIDE of YouTube.
Using Twitter you can easily:
The amount of free reach Twitter gives which helps you appear in front of new audiences is mind-blowing.
On top of that, Twitter users seem more enthusiastic to have conversations there than anywhere else online. This openness is perfect for creating relationships and arranging collaborations.
I haven't found an easier place to build an additional following and collaborate with my peers than on Twitter.

Twitter is my #1 place to promote my videos and get more views AFTER I have optimized my videos for the YouTube algorithm.
Increasing Your YouTube Revenue
Here are 2 ways I know of that you can increase your income on YouTube
Successfully selling products to viewers becomes increasingly difficult as the price of products increases.
When selling higher-priced products, research by Google suggests that a buyer needs 7 hours of interaction with the seller in 4 separate locations before they will decide to make a purchase.
Expecting a single viewer to watch 7 hours of your YouTube videos is pretty unrealistic...
This being the case, we'd be clever to connect with our viewers OUTSIDE of YouTube to increase the hours of interaction they have with us.
Twitter is a great second location for your viewers to connect and build up the level of familiarity with you that they need to comfortably buy your products.
It's been working great for me this year in growing both my views and sales and it can do the same for you too.
So, in conclusion, GET ON TWITTER!
...and make sure to give me a follow when you're on there too.

2 年Hey Greg! Seemed intuitive initially, but the underlying data paints a different picture.. "When selling higher-priced products, research by Google suggests that a buyer needs?7 hours?of interaction with the seller in?4 separate locations?before they will decide to make a purchase." Is this across industries and sectors? Creator specific? I'd love to learn more. Thanks!
