Increase your Productivity With Microsoft Office 365 Mobile Apps

If you are reading my blog you will probably already be familiar with Office 365 for desktop, but did you know that all of the popular business productivity suites are also available on mobile devices? Microsoft Office 365 Mobile apps allow you to use your favorite Office applications on the go, and even offline. So let's take a look at everything you need to know and how to get started.

Using Office 365 Mobile Apps

As long as you have an internet connection, you can work from anywhere with Office 365 mobile apps - if you are at your local Starbucks, picking up the kids from school or simply on the train going to work. The cloud approach allows you to get real-time access to all of your work documents.

You can access all of your documents from any Office 365 plan using the Office 365 Apps for iOS, Android or Windows mobile. However, the features available will depend on whether you have an Office 365 qualifying plan or non-qualifying plan. I will go into the different plans for Office 365 on a separate blog post.

Storage on the Go

One Drive gives you access to all your files no matter where you are; it integrates with Office 365 and comes pre-installed with Windows. You can easily share your files on One Drive so others can access them securely and seamlessly. One Drive also keeps a useful version history of all activity for files so that everyone is working on the most up to date version of the document.

Document Management and Collaboration

Obviously, you know that we can all use Office 365 online, but did you know you can also use it offline? When you are online, the Auto-save feature is always on; as the name says, it will save your work as you go. If at any time your internet connection drops, any pending changes will sync and save as soon as you are back online. This means you can safely work offline using Office 365.

My Conclusion

Office 365 allows you to work on different mobile devices, whether online or offline. This gives your employees greater flexibility in how they get their work done.
