“To Increase Its Footprint Across India”: Citroen to Establish 200 Sales & Service Touchpoints by the End of 2024

With its Network Expansion Program, 雪铁龙 , the top French carmaker, plans to create 200 sales and service touchpoints by the end of 2024. This ground-breaking project demonstrates the brand's commitment to providing a superior Citroen brand experience to a wide-ranging and growing client base across the country.

With the addition of new dealerships in urban, semi-urban, and rural regions, Citroen's footprint across India will climb to over 200 from its current 58, representing 400% network growth. The carefully thought-out development plan is to establish a strong presence close to consumers and provide an unmatched Citroen brand experience through creative smart retail formats catered to various market segments.

Citroen India's Brand Director, Shishir Mishra, said, “Our goal is to increase the availability of Citroen to customers and expand the market for our products outside Tier I and Tier II locations. We also cover Tier III and even Tier IV markets, which we have specifically selected based on their growth potential and closeness to Tier I and Tier II cities. These markets are home to expanding customer populations that are ready for improved availability of high-quality goods and services. In addition to taking advantage of new opportunities, our investment in these areas aims to support the socio-economic growth of smaller urban centers, promoting prosperity and diversity across a range of geographic contexts.”

With a further INR 2,000 crore investment made earlier this year under the Citroen brand, Stellantis demonstrated its commitment to the expansion of Citroen in India. Citroen stated in a press statement that despite its ongoing growth and innovation, the company is committed to changing the lives of its customers and making its goods and services available to all.
