Did you know: Over 1 billion people worldwide live with some form of disability or impairment (World Health Organisation, 2023)

The week of July 22-26 marked Recite Me ’s annual awareness week, ‘Accessibility to Me’. We proudly offer Recite Me assistive tools on our website, empowering every visitor to customise their digital experience according to their needs. With Recite Me used on over 5,000 websites, we are thrilled to be part of this journey towards greater online accessibility.

Anthropy UK Summer Reception

We had an amazing time at the Anthropy UK Summer Reception. It was a perfect opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals, forge new connections, and exchange experiences, all against the backdrop of spectacular views!

Vote for our partnered charity: Conscious Youth

We are thrilled to announce that our partner charity, CONSCIOUS YOUTH C.I.C. , has been nominated for the Charity of the Year Award at the Multicultural Business & Community Champion Awards (MBCC) .

Conscious Youth has engaged over 900 young people in Kirklees, West Yorkshire, addressing inequalities and empowering youth to drive change.

The MCA: 2024 Annual Industry Report

The Management Consultancies Association 2024 Annual Industry Report is now available!

We attended the launch event, and it was encouraging to see improvements in DE&I and to hear during the panel discussions that everyone recognises that despite progress, there is still a long way to go.

The report is the most comprehensive analysis of the consulting profession in the UK, offering an evaluation of leading consultancy firms' performance and their impact on the economy and society. Key findings include:

• More firms than ever are collecting diversity and inclusion statistics to ensure their workforce reflects their clients and society.
• The percentage of new hires outside of London has reached 52%.
• Although the proportion of minority ethnicity representation aligns with the working age population, progress on Black representation at the senior and partner level continues to underperform with 1% of employees at this level reporting this ethnicity for the fourth year in a row.
• Representation of LGBTQ+ employees has increased from 4% to 7% in 2023.
• 6% of employees are living with a disability, and 4% have a neurodiversity condition, with increased data collection in these categories.

CSA Celebrates: Rising Star Awards 2024

July 17th celebrated this year’s #RisingStars100 at The Londoner for the WeAreTheCity Rising Star Awards, where Charlotte Sweeney OBE had the honour of being a judge.

It has been a wonderful opportunity to celebrate inspiring stories of remarkable role models across 25 categories.

We are thrilled to announce that Charlotte Sweeney OBE will be a judge for this year's Yorkshire Excellence in HR Awards!

Taking place on the?21st November 2024?at?The Queens Hotel, Leeds? - HR professionals from across the region will be welcomed to take part in celebrating outstanding achievements in Human Resources. It highlights those dedicated to enhancing HR practices and fostering inclusive, successful workplaces.

July has been a busy month filled with opportunities to connect, collaborate, and regroup. Our team offsite days have sparked new ideas for CSA, and we are working on exciting projects behind the scenes.
