Did you ask 'Why?' a lot?as a child??
I did! I drove my parents (and anyone else listening) nuts with my natural curiosity, like 'Why is the sky blue during the day and black at night?'?
And once I knew why, I shared it with EVERYONE (especially if it showed my younger siblings I knew more than they did).???????

I was surprised?when sales expert Cynthia Zenti told me The Collective's sales copy (and my most recent emails) lacked the why.???
She was right though!?I wasn't sharing why...
And why I immediately redid all the sales copy !?
Because?why would anyone take action just because I told them what they were doing isn't working, but didn't tell them why not????♀?
Totally not helpful, right?!!!
So, let me tell you now - WHY it's so freaking important to make sure you're addressing the why's with your marketing.
The Power of 'Why' in Marketing
If we never ask why or question anything - in life or business -?NOTHING?ever changes – including in our marketing. So, isn't it time to ask...
'Why aren't people buying from you right now?' It's because...
You aren't going deep enough!?
As a result, you don't stand out from the hundreds of peeps popping up similar advice.?
It's time to share opinions, thoughts, your expertise.
Be BOLD! ??
Stop hiding behind 'nice' content or trying not to offend anyone.?
If you're aren't offending someone, you're playing it too safe with your marketing because you're not supposed to appeal to everyone.?
So, I'm just going to say it like it is.
MOST of the marketing strategy and advice you're using and following is outdated.?
It's not your fault because it's what's you've been taught.
It's?what worked 3 to 4 years ago and hasn't been updated.
MOST of the business and marketing coaches and professionals are telling you to?focus on content - NOT conversations and the?'post it and they will come' method.?
But those days are long gone.?
This outdated approach is why many of you have struggled to bring in consistent clients in 2024. You're using tactics that worked in 2020 and 2021 when simply posting content was enough to attract ideal clients.
Why Your Current Content Marketing Isn't Working

Back in 2020, it took an average of 12 touch points to convert a connection into a paying clients. Today, that number is 70+ touch points, which are made all that much easier to hit when you're commenting.?
1 piece of content + 10 comments = 11 touch points + 11 places you're visible.

Conversations in comments, combined with your content and an optimized profile, trigger action with the 90% of people who quietly consume (the lurkers) without reaching out until they're ready to work with you.
Yep, MOST people read the conversations in the comments.?

2 周It starts with why. So crucial. When I read back over messaging I have crafted for myself and clients I sit back and pretend I am the ideal client. I read it and and then say so what? And if the answer isn't clear, it's back to the drawing board.
