Business Development Sales Representative for Alberta (Part-Time)

We are searching for a dedicated and passionate individual who is ready to join a company that is currently building strong momentum and growth. The Business Development Sales Representative identifies key trends by industry and region to determine new sales opportunities. S/he is responsible for signing new businesses within a given industry for both new customers and select existing customers. The individual must learn the market and become aware of procedures, new technologies, and techniques to develop a strong sales approach. Your role will be essential in building strong customer and business relationships. It is crucial that the candidate thrives in our entrepreneurial company culture where change is constant, growth is immense and opportunities abound.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Directly lead the sales effort for the InBody, including evaluation of account interest, presentation of services, development of the proposal for services and final presentation
  • Prospecting and lead generation within assigned group of target customers through proactive networking and leveraging existing relationships
  • Developing the sales strategy for the deployment of InBodyCanada’s products and services
  • Lead the qualification process of new accounts through direct customer solicitation. Responsibility includes qualification services and the identification of target opportunities
  • Collaborate across functional areas in development of solutions, proposals, and pricing models. This includes attending sales calls to further define the opportunity and develop the value proposition for account closure
  • Actively collaborate with Sales teammates and other operating companies who interact with the same target customers
  • Create and run InBody promotional activities such as conventions, conferences, and tradeshows
  • Attend, participate, lead and/or facilitate events requested or required for the program
  • Provide input and/or direction with development of new services within the wellness program
  • May perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Experience selling solutions across industry to customers of varying size and complexity an asset
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop effective customer and employee relationships.
  • Strategic planning and sales management skills
  • Initiative, innovation and strong work standards
  • Articulate; keen attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously and independently
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Office 365
  • Excellent verbal, written, telephone communication, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, maintain a pleasant, professional attitude towards customers and co-workers
  • Effective and professional demeanor in all interactions with all levels of personnel
  • Flexible, dependable and have a willingness to learn, excel and master their position as well as assist where and when needed
  • Demonstrate skills in the following areas: critical thinking, problem-solving, time management, organization, effective communication, and multi-tasking
