Today’s teaching professional is Inbar Mor !
Inbar is 29 years, and she is a Tech Entrepreneur, Sales personality, & Advisor in the high-tech industry. She has spent most of her time in Israel but has relocated to Ukraine over the last two years. But around four months ago, she escaped because of the Ukraine-Russia War and returned to Israel.??
A big theme in her career was to find a life purpose, as she started her journey within the religious schools, which was a place where she discovered a huge curiosity for many topics. One of the many ways is Chemical engineering, the first degree she pursued after high school.?
Moreover, she became a technology sales personnel, as she liked to develop inside labs cosmetics but also enjoyed getting out of the lab to sell unique cosmetic products.?
So I started the interview by asking her how it was to be in sales during the pandemic. “I was working remotely, and there was no real idea of what was working from home. Thanks to this flexibility, I could move back to Ukraine to stay with my partner while working remotely. Also, I maintained a steady performance, realized my talent, and felt I needed to open my own business”.?
Therefore she developed her line of cosmetics, “youfirstcosmetics”.?
In addition, the war happened in 2022, and she moved to Israel, with a whole warehouse with the products remaining stuck in Kyiv as she commented, “not a good starting for my venture when I was also trying to develop the brand's marketing and establish the right target audience.”
Another big passion of the Israeli Entrepreneur is becoming an investor, as she aspires to create an impact and change the world of Venture Capitalism (VC). But she highlights, "There is always the need to Run a startup tomorrow, with amazing people, in one industry, to become relevant in the VC world.” Even though her startup is not entirely tech, she is very active as a networker; as she pointed out, “I network infinitely and in many ways, via social media channels and many groups on WhatsApp. The important is to find the right target audience before starting to connect with those people if you want to work in a specific industry.?

Strong values, she adds, are also essential to be a good networker, in addition to the most important characteristics of a sales manager: Persistence, Creativity, and Verbal Ability.?
After a short introduction, she wanted to describe more about her experience as an entrepreneur. “I thought it would have been more accessible and fun, but it is challenging to? work alone; the risks are quite a lot!”
Moreover, she mentioned, "In the first steps, it was challenging to understand how to use my day correctly. As there were no sales, and my knowledge about how to build my company was small”.?
Also, she told me that she has recently established her own advising company in Israel. She is consulting Israeli startups and a US-based startup in Silicon Valley in areas of Sales, Business Development and Business Growth.?
Despite that little experience, she became an entrepreneur as soon as she had the chance, so I asked her why. She told me, “Moving to Kyiv after an INTENSIVE experience in sales was good. I saw positive results and sales early on, so I became very confident about my potential.”?
Then we spoke more about her experience in HR, some of the other companies she works with in her sales position, and a small tenure in Carlsberg. .?
Her professional tip is to put yourself first and to trust your gut and capabilities when it comes to challenges.? Honestly reason with yourself, and take care of yourself, as the more you input into caring for yourself, you will be able to feel or to be seen differently.??
