In-person interviews

With the COVID-19 pandemic seemingly quietening down, we have seen an increase in law firms choosing to interview individuals in person. As so many of us have become accustomed to working from home, it may seem tricky to adjust to an in-person meeting when we are so used to using MS Teams/Zoom. An initial interview might be held over video, but the likelihood now is firms will want to meet with you in-person to get to know the real you. Therefore, how you present yourself in person has increased in importance.

The majority of law firms are now operating on a hybrid working model which means people are required to come into the office a few days a week. If you have been working remotely during the pandemic, this change might seem daunting and unfamiliar. This is why we are now looking to meet with individuals in person to not only discuss your job search, but to also give you preparation for interviews that we help secure for you.

As well as meeting with candidates looking for new roles, I am keen to meet with law firms who are looking to recruit. Meeting in person at your office will give me a better sense of the culture, size and future plans of your firm which we can then sell back to candidates when discussing job opportunities.
