Senior In-House Lawyer Opportunities

United Kingdom ????

Senior in-house roles are rare to come by, so every week me and my team collect most interesting senior level opportunities across our network.

Head of Legal, Attensi – a rare opportunity for a lawyer early in their career (3+ PQE) to take on a HoL reporting into CFO. The company is a global leader in gamified simulation training with ca. 250 employees and $26M in funding so far.

Associate GC Employment, Boston Consulting Group (BCG) – London based role for a 20+ PQE Employment lawyer, with a remit of over 50 countries and an international team of employment lawyers.

VP Legal - International, Fanatics – London based role a 10+ PQE with a global digital sports platform. $31Bn valuation.

Ireland ????

Associate General Counsel (Regulatory), Wayflyer – Role for a 7+ PQE lawyer in Dublin with a fast-growing, venture-backed in e-commerce space. Raised $150m in Series B fundingl; valued at $1.6Bn; backed by strong VCs (QED, DST Global).

France ????

Head of Legal, Bunq – 5+ PQE, hybrid role in Paris, with a fintech company.

Legal Director, OVHcloud – Role in Paris with a French cloud computing company, the largest hosting provider in Europe, and the 3rd largest in the world. Manage a team.

Germany ????

General Counsel Lead, GfK – Role for a 5+ PQE lawyer based in Bavaria with the largest German market research company (ca. 11,000 employees) providing data and intelligence to the consumer goods industry.

Associate General Counsel, Lexmark – Opportunity for a 10-15 PQE Generalist with a US company, a well-known multinational laser printers and imaging products manufacturer. Germany or France based, fluency in French required.

Singapore ????

Head of Legal, YouTrip – Role for a 10+ PQE lawyer with a neo bank with ca. 150 employees, requiring prior experience in payments or fintech.

Director Commercial Legal APAC, Airwallex – Opportunity for a 10+ PQE lawyer who is fully fluent in Mandarin.

Legal Director, trip.com – Role for a 5+ PQE lawyer, also requiring fluency in Mandarin.


Opportunities with my clients

I am currently working on several mid to mid-senior level in-house roles in Spain, France, Germany and Denmark with global tech companies.

All of the roles require the right to work in the respective country (no visa sponsorships unfortunately).

Madrid ????

Legal Counsel, Global Tech Company. Hybrid role. Fantastic team, one of the best employers and a market leader. We need 4+ years of experience as a Tech lawyer handling SaaS contracts and supporting sales teams.

It's a given that the work is complex and interesting, but this company has a culture of proper work life balance.

Lawyers here are high achievers who don't live to work, but work to live.

Madrid office buzzes Tuesday to Thursday. For the rest of the week, people enjoy their home offices in the city or second residencies across Spain.

In June / August the city is too hot, so the lawyers here escape to other locations. The Balearics, France, the UK, Southeast Asia or South America are popular options (as an employee of this company you can work from another country 30 days a year).

On top of this, at this company the annual leave and local public holidays combined amount to almost 10 weeks off every year. What's not to like?

For this role, the right to work in Spain is required, as well as tech lawyer experience. Compensation is market rate for Spain for a 4+ PQE. It is reflective of the local relatively low cost of living, so usually only works for someone who is keen to move to Spain specifically.

Paris ????

Opportunity for a lawyer with 7-10 years of experience as a commercial tech lawyer in the IT Services / IT Outsourcing sector (must have requirement).

Great team. Role is focused on drafting and negotiating high value high complexity contracts. No direct reports. Associate Legal Director title.

Germany (remote or Berlin / Frankfurt) ????

(Senior) Legal Counsel role for a lawyer with 5+ PQE. Experience in SaaS / PaaS is required. Medium sized company (2,500 employees globally) with excellent reputation and culture, one of the best rated employers. Commercial tech legal role supporting sales teams, part of close knit global team (4 lawyers in Europe). Fluency in German is required.

Germany (Frankfurt / Munich, or remote for an ideal candidate) ????

Legal Counsel role with a major Tech multinational supporting commercial / sales teams. Who is it for? For someone who loves high complexity contracting and has 3-6 years of experience as a tech lawyer in a medium to large sized tech company. Great team, great packages. Hybrid or remote.

Copenhagen ???? or Stockholm ????

Legal Counsel role with a large global tech company for a commercial tech lawyer with 2-5 years of experience. The hiring manager is also based in the Nordics, so you will have company locally (+ a broader team in Europe). As above, you will not be bored as the work is complex and stimulating.
