8 个月If an organization ‘doesn’t have time to communicate and celebrate’ I seriously question what the leaders are doing. A leader’s ONLY job (all the other things they might get distracted with can fall under other job titles) is to lead. The most important element of leading is making your people feel engaged and motivated. Bonuses and ice cream feeds are nice, but global research has shown the best way to engage your people is to have frequent non-task oriented interactions. 15-20 minutes one on one every week with the people you lead is all it takes.
Growth requires constructive criticism; it's all about getting better as a team.
Empowering the team feels empowering for everyone; it's a win-win situation.
