Improving reading in our schools
Geotheta Consulting Engineers and Scientists
9 YEARS OF INTERNATIONAL CONSULTING KNOWLEDGEABLE | EXPERIENCED | EFFICIENT
Over the past six months, Geotheta has been supporting projects to help improve reading skills in rural and semi-rural schools.
Book clubs have been set up in schools where learners are eager to improve their reading abilities. The first book they are using is How to Make Good Choices, sponsored by Geotheta. This book is based on The Way to Happiness and focuses on important life principles.
With the help of their teachers, learners are reading the book and discussing its lessons, such as Do Not Steal, Be Truthful, Be Drug-Free, and Set a Good Example. In total, the book covers 21 valuable principles.
So far, more than 20 schools have received copies of How to Make Good Choices and are actively using them to boost their reading and life skills. Geotheta is proud to be part of this journey, helping learners build brighter futures through reading.
New schools are requesting copies for their learners every week. If you would like a copy or copies or if you would like to help contribute to this project in any way, please email [email protected].
