Improving my first  video

Improving my first video

Welcome to?MyVideoJourney A series of posts where I document my efforts to improve my video making.?

It’s important to note that I am no expert. I would put myself between beginner to intermediate so if you are looking at pro tips this is not the place for you. But if you are a beginner like me and you want to dip your toe in the water and improve your video skills we can share each other's pain.

This series will?cover?the following topics ;

  1. Improving my first video.
  2. Publishing to YouTube.
  3. Setting up my room correctly.
  4. Shooting video indoors.
  5. Shooting video outdoors.
  6. Video Editing.

The first post in this series went onto my LinkedIn feed in early March 2022. I recorded a “talking head “ video where I discussed MyVideoJourney, what the series was about and what I hoped to achieve.

As a rule, when I make these videos I will bring them back into my studio for post-production,

To try to make them fit for human consumption

However, the point was to share something in its unedited glory.

Then take the footage and work on improving it using my limited editing skills to share the results documenting what I've done.

A before and after if you like.

Below is a link to the first video, published on YouTube.?

The next post The “after” will be posted very soon.?

If you want to keep up to date then please follow the hash #MYVideoJourney or you could ring my profile bell so that you don’t missing of my nuts stuff although why anyone would want to do that puzzles me
