You must be aware about the fact that mind controls our body. If the brain isn’t in the state to control your body, imagine how critical it will be. To be more precise, we’ll be stuck in a place
Feeling low is completely fine. Like every coin has two sides, every mental condition has two types, a good and a little less good. Good mental condition is often stated as stress-free and calm. In such a state we often find ways to move on despite every odd. But is every individual extremely strong to face the storm? Absolutely ‘no’! 1 out of every 5 person is suffering from mental illness. A little help can bring back smiles.
Here are the tips to improve one’s mental health.
1.Talk – Share
Since the evolution of smart technologies, we somewhere have forgotten to spend time with real people. It feels like talking to anyone isn’t the same as it used to be. If we see the time before the technology ruined our intellectuality in the name of modernization, we used to talk and share with the people. We are extremely active with the technological platform at the cost of degrading mental health. We are just pushing ourselves to the worst. Why don’t we practice detachment from the smart world and spend some time talking to people we love? It will be effective as there will not be modern technology to defocus us while talking or listening to someone.??
2. Laugh – Laugh More, Think Less
Laughing is not just an activity, it is the simplest form of workout. Laughing helps patients with serious diseases to heal to an extent. It lets your brain forget the fact that there is something wrong with the body. You will be surprised to know that whatever happening in the body is controlled by the brain. Thus, manipulating it by laughing more than you usually do, not only make you feel better but also enhances the ability to think bigger and better. 10 minutes or belly laugh shapes your jaws, tightens the skin, burns calories, and heals negativity, if not this, what else could make you happy?
3.?Workout – Several Options to Choose From
Workout was never limited to the exercises done in the gym. There is a misconception that gym and workout go hand in hand. Don’t stress out yourself by setting the workout milestones. You can try Zumba, aerobic, dance or anything where you can enjoy the entire time with your favorite music feeling positive. Meditation is one such method that adds to powering your mental ability.?

4.?Get a Break – Cut yourself from everything you are doing for a while
Though work from home facilitates us of working from a comfortable environment, we do miss our workplaces. The only change we don’t like right now is, when we wish to talk to someone, our office friends aren’t around? Believe it or not but this feeling surely affects. Focusing becomes difficult at such times. Motivating ourselves is something that we neglect. Thus, feeling anxious while working from home is very much common, whenever you feel it, act over it right away. To overcome this feeling, it is advised to take a break whenever such a thought strikes your brain.
?5. Get a Hobby – Try new Things
Does trying new things scare you? Well, majority of us won’t try anything new even if given the golden opportunity. We often overthink before stepping out of our shoes. But, trying something unusual will boost your productivity to an extent and you might even discover your hidden talent. Comfort zones will not be comforting you in a stressful mindset, but a new hobby can let you meet with a new you. There is so much you can be relying on when it comes to improving the brain health. Video games, art, acting, cooking and what not! If you try something and you were not good at, do not worry, Rome wasn’t built in a day ??
6.?A Good Sleep – Not to Ignore
More than 80% of us will have the habit of checking our smartphones before we sleep. Can we give more priority of our sleep than the technology near us? Well, IoT will not allow us to get completely detached even when we need it, but a good sleep is essential for a healthy mind. So, lets care for us and forget about the virtual world for a while.
7.?Healthy food – Healthy food is often ignored when it comes to lifestyle
What we eat depicts how we behave and what we think! Confused? I am sure, you must be. When we intake fats, it does not let us feel active, which results in a sedentary lifestyle. Whereas fresh and low carb food lets us taste the energy and we’ll feel better and positive. You may be a big fan of junk and frozen food, but have you ever thought does it really have any nutritional value? Well, unfortunately it does not have any, it’s just good for our tastebuds. It also imbalances the structural formation of our body and we tend to think about the unpleasant feeling round the clock and it ultimately leads to depression. So, let’s just think healthy by eating healthy.
It’s easy to improve our mental health, isn’t it? It’s just the matter of perception like the glass was never half empty, for me it was always half full!
