Improving data privacy with Client-side encryption for Google Meet???????

In the beginning, CSE will only be available for the Meet web client; support for mobile apps and meeting room hardware will follow later. Additionally, guest access will be introduced in the future. Client-side encrypted calls can only be invited by members of your Workspace organization.?

A few other details include:

• When client-side encryption is enabled, the call cannot begin until the organizer joins. If people arrive early, they will have to wait for the organizer to arrive before interacting with other participants.
• Dialing in and out is not supported by client-side encryption.
• Some call media processing or parsing functions, such as cloud-based noise removal or closed captioning won't function.

The update will be available to Google Workspace Enterprise Plus, Education Standard, and Education Plus customers.?
