Every person deserves access to safe clean, water. Due to population growth, strong consumer demand for goods and services and climate change, there is rising demand for fresh water supply.

At Protea Chemicals, we offer innovative water care solutions for potable water, wastewater treatment, mining, commercial (specialty) and industrial effluent treatment, leveraging our core competence and our partnership with our strategic principals.

In addition to our diverse innovative solutions, we manufacture, distribute chemicals, and provide technical support for water treatment to render it potable, a function primarily undertaken through water services authorities and providers such as Water Boards & Municipalities and wastewater treatment both in the industrial and municipal sectors.

We believe in connecting our clients not only to our vast, reliable network of quality suppliers but also to our industry-specific expertise, innovative thinking and to new opportunities.

Our water care supports waterboards and municipalities in providing them with safe, clean drinking water and effective sanitation to 97 million people per day in Africa.

Mindful that water is everyone’s business and that we should all be involved in ensuring water security, Protea Chemicals will be participating at the Water Institute of Southern Africa (WISA) Biennial Conference & Exhibition at the Sandton Convention Centre from 28 to 30 September 2022. We have secured two stands – 126 and 127.

The conference, which will be held under the theme “Navigating the Course”, is the largest gathering where different players of the water sector – such as industry experts, customers (water utilities and municipalities), and water care treatment service providers – gather to share their expertise, knowledge and find solutions to ongoing water challenges.
