What a huge week it has been for Microsoft 365.

As always, I have been through the Microsoft 365 Roadmap and Message Center to bring you some #knowledge about what is coming, what you can take advantage moving forward.

Microsoft Viva: Follow a topic

You can now follow topics from experiences across Microsoft 365 and the Viva suite to receive personalized experiences and notifications of activities around topics of interest.

Microsoft Teams: An improved search experience in chat and channels

A new search experience will allow you to search in a specific chat or channel and reach relevant results faster. The results will appear in the right handrail so you can stay in the flow of your work. Enhancements like highlighted key words will make it easier for you to scan your results.

Microsoft Viva: Viva Topics Teams app

#viva Topics Teams app is coming as the new destination for discovering new and trending topics in the organization, providing feedback on suggested topics, catching up on activities on topics of interest and more.

?? What is rolling out right now that you should be aware of?

Outlook: Video Capture and Upload to OneDrive

You will be able to capture a video from your phone while in the Outlook Mobile app, then seamlessly upload it to your email. Uploading the video will leverage OneDrive for Business, allowing you to benefit from increased storage space and large limits for video size and length.


Microsoft Teams: Active speaker view in meetings

Active speaker is a new view added to #MicrosoftTeams meetings. It highlights the active speaker while still showing the rest of the participants in the meeting. You can use this new view through the view switcher in a meeting.


#Outlook for Windows: Signature cloud settings

Your Signature settings are stored in the cloud, so your experience is consistent when you access Outlook for Windows on any computer. This feature is now available to 50% of Current Channel.


Microsoft Graph: SharePoint Pages API

New graph API to create and manage SharePoint pages and news posts.

(Updated) Improvements to @mentioning behavior on Viva Engage

Viva Engage will soon have an improved @mentioning behavior available. Users will be able to @mention someone just using their first name/last name. This change would be available on web, and on mobile.

Admins will also have the ability to turn off this feature through their admin portal.

Standard Release:?Rolling out mid-April 2023, and will complete the rollout by late April.
