Improve your planner: Get all your work in one place.
We all know the feeling of being completely overwhelmed at work, with emails piling up, overloading meetings and campaign deadlines. Believe it or not, there's a very easy, simplistic way of improving this.
Here are some tips for using your planner more efficiently in the office, and at home, so that you can be more productive:
1. Prioritize your most important tasks first and complete tasks in batches
2. Use colorful pens/highlighters to digest information quicker, easier, and more efficiently.
3. Write a weekly and daily to-do list. Include colleagues you’re working with on these tasks and how best to optimize your time.
4. Create a backup list online, whether this is a Marketing spreadsheet and ACTION list, or simply some online notes or an email to yourself. It’s easy to lose a notepad, so having a backup is important.
5. Include meetings within your diary as well as your work pad to plan ahead and have sufficient time for yourself.
