To Improve Your Attitude
Attitudes play a crucial role in living a successful, meaningful, constructive, and blissful life.
Positive attitude make success easy; a negative one makes success pointless.
Neutral Attitude: People with a neutral attitude don't give enough importance to situations or events. The cognitive attitude refers to the beliefs, knowledge, and thoughts that we have about an attitude object.
?Your attitude is created by your thoughts, and you choose your thoughts. You are the architect of your frame of mind.
You decide how you will perceive and process the events of life and work. You make the decision if your mindset is positive or negative. If you want to feel better you have to think better.
If you truly want to be successful, your number one task should be to create and maintain a positive attitude. When you've got an attitude of optimism, expectancy and enthusiasm, opportunities grow, and problems shrink.
If you're a leader, a positive attitude draws people to your side and encourages them to do their best work. A leader with a negative attitude, however, can only compel others to take action through fear.
More importantly, what would be point of being successful if you're always feeling lousy??With that in mind, here's how to ensure your attitude stays upbeat:
Always act with a purpose.
Before you take any action, decide how it will serve your greater goals.?If the connection is weak or non-existent, take that action off your to-do list. Aimless activity wastes time and energy.
Stretch yourself past your limits every day.
Doing the same-old, same-old is depressing, even if your same-old has been successful in the past. Success is like athletics; if you don't stretch yourself every day, you gradually become slow and brittle.
Take action without expecting results.
While you naturally must make decisions and take action based upon the results you'd like to achieve, it's a big mistake to expect those results and then be disappointed when you don't get them.?Take your best shot but don't obsess about the target.
Use setbacks to improve your skills.
Rather than feeling bad if you fail or get rejected, look back at your actions and see what you can do (if anything) to improve your performances.?
Remember: the results you receive are the signposts for the results you want to achieve.
Seek out those who share your positive attitude.
It's a scientific fact your brain automatically imitates the behaviors of the people around you.?(It's because of something called a mirror neuron).?Therefore, you should surround yourself with positive thinkers and shun those who are excessively negative.
Don't take yourself so seriously.
If you want to be happier and make those around you feel more comfortable, cultivate the ability to laugh at yourself.?If you don't (or can't) laugh at yourself, I guarantee you that the people you work with are laughing behind your back!
Forgive the limitations of others.
High standards are important, but humans are, well, human. It's crazy to make yourself miserable because other people can't do a job as well as you think you could, or when people don't share your vision with the same passion that you feel.
Say "thank you" more frequently.
Achieving an "attitude of gratitude" requires more than simply being aware of what's wonderful in your life.?You must, and should, thank other people for their gifts to you, even if that gift is something as simple as a smile.

Dale Carnegie failed to become an actor despite attending American Academy of Dramatic Arts and spending all his hard-earned savings there but he did not lose hope because of his positive attitude and established himself as an all-time great lecturer and writer of self-improvement, his book ‘How to Win Friends and Influence People’ was a best-seller from the debut with five million copies sold even before his death, and there had been four hundred and fifty thousand graduates of his institute.
Albert Einstein was expelled from school; he was so slow in learning that his parents and teachers thought he was mentally handicapped. The equation is very simple, be grateful for what you have and you will have more to be grateful for.
?“Thanks are the highest form of thought, and that gratitude is happiness doubled by wonder”.
One must always recall that ‘gratitude is the best attitude’ and must give as much as possible to charity, even a smile can serve the purpose if you have nothing else to share.
God gave us life to feel love and happiness and the best way to extend gratitude to Him is sharing our love and happiness with others.
This is a real heartwarming and mindfulness activity you can have at your home, particularly in leisure hours.
Make it a family tradition to count your blessings by adding leaves to the gratitude tree as a thanksgiving gesture. Kids may also share their gratitude trees with teachers and class fellows, to provide them with the stimulus to do the same.?
In life almost everything is achievable if you stick your heart to it, and keep on applying your mind to it, and do not stop trying to achieve it.
Feel positive, think positive and act positive, and take charge of your attitude if you want to take charge of your life.

3 年"Negative attitude " These types of people will always be searching for weaker elements of other's personality and are not inclined towards positive elements. Their focus remains on bad people and they avoid good people. They are likely to complain about changes rather than adapting. And they might blame their failures on others. These types of people are always prone to an extreme degree of anger, and carry the sentiments of hatred for others. Their behavior is choked with pessimism, and their behavior is full of frustration. They always doubt about the credibility of others and remain jealous of others achievements. They feel others are inferior and hence are suffering a self styled superiority complex. Keep in mind, that one's behavior might not always reflect one's attitude. However, people might change their behavior, if the inconsistencies between their beliefs and behavior are pointed out to them. In general, a positive attitude is most likely to have a good effect on one's behavior. Attitude. For that, one would need to change the way he/she thinks, feels, or behaves. ?However, changing the way one feels is not that easy. Attitude is powerful and difficult to control.
