A little late this week, but here is another health, body and wellness newsletter ??
As we are about to hit April and with the evenings becoming much lighter, I’m certainly feeling more motivated again. How about you?
As I’ve said before, training is an all year round event for me. I have dips throughout the year and the winter months are certainly tough with a lack of sunshine. But, soon it will be summer and you know that summer bodies are made in the winter right?
Not that my goal is aesthetic. Remaining strong, energetic and pain free is the motivation for me.
I’ve been lucky enough to work with some amazing clients in my time in the fitness industry. Every week on this newsletter I try and share some of my successes with those clients.
This week I’ve been in Cambridge working out of Longstanton. I’ve been working with Charles Whittaker for a while now online. It was the first time we had actually met in person. Charles travelled up from Kent to see me.
Charles is an amazing person at 78 years old, he has made big steps to help himself to move better. And with having different health issues over the years this is really inspiring. He’s also helping people in his business with trauma, anxiety, stress and overwhelm - check him out on LinkedIn.
So….
As normal I’m going to share some exercises that you can implement into your working week.
These exercises are for anyone to do. Improving the mobility in the body will have tremendous benefits to our life’s.

I recommend always to only work within current available range of motion. If something feels like it’s going to snap off then you’ve probably gone to far ??.
First of all, a mobility exercise to free up the spine….
Next up, a shoulder mobility exercise. You’ll just need a light resistance band or a wooden pole will do.
Finally, yep, you guessed it. A mobility exercise for the hips.
That’s three mobility exercises for the week ahead. Mobility is always important. If we improve the mobility in our joints then we move better.
That’s all for this weeks newsletter. Need anything else?
My inbox is always open for a conversation.
Have a great weekend.
