Impressions Are Bull

As buyers of media for our businesses or client businesses, we pay for impressions. That means 99% of the time you are paying for completely nothing. Here is the website of KUSA ... 9 News for us here in Denver. Super high ranked site, they will tell you. On my computer--and iPad--I could not x out of ads and images and wallpaper and whatever else was plastered on the screen. Every time I did, it reloaded with even more stuff. And each click I made registers--and here believe me!--as a hard hit. "Someone not only viewed your ad Brakes Plus ... the dude clicked on it a few times he liked it so much!" Nope. I was trying desperately to swim to shore in this sea of overloaded gunk. Main lesson is for buyers: do NOT fall for impressive numbers from these guys selling. These numbers are, to use one of all our favorite new words, bigly overrated in the most extreme sense.
