Impression of Increase!
What Impressions of Increase did you leave behind you today?
You are never too old to grow or learn! My belief is that when we teach we learn and I am excited to be growing at present as I am coaching individuals and teams in a program called Thinking Into Results which is facilitated by Bob Proctor and Sandy Gallagher.
In the Culture building programs I develop and facilitate we spend a lot of time talking about the importance of creating meaningful emotional connections for our customer - both internal and external. The successful internalisation of a brand is what can mean the difference between success or not and yet is so often overlooked when creating brand awareness and building campaigns.
A great term I have come across lately is the importance of leaving others with "The Impression of Increase". My mum always told me "you get what you give in life" and this is another way of saying if you leave someone with a feeling of increase then it may not be that person but you will be rewarded in some way and I believe it is so very true.
Creating a strong and meaningful connection with a customer will result in building loyalty which will result in growth for your company or brand. Taking on the philosophy of leaving everyone you connect with an impression of increase will result in growth for you as an individual, as a colleague, as a team member, as a leader, as a family member and it can be for as little as remembering to smile and make eye contact when you greet someone. It all can make such a difference in someone else's day.
Bob Proctor says "Start looking for what other people do well. Bring it to their attention. Let them kow you notice it. Leave the impression on increase with every person you come in contact with." Just imagine how powerful that would be!
