IMPOSTER POLITICAL MAILING MAKES LOCAL APPEARANCE

On April 13th an un-cancelled, undated and no return address mail piece was delivered by the USPS addressed to a specific Vancouver recipient.?Superficially, the glossy jumbo-sized postal card appears to thank the targeted recipient for a $250 Biden campaign political donation. ?It goes on to state that a continuing monthly credit card charge for the same amount will be taking place. ?This is an alarming message. In fact, the individual receiving this communication hadn’t made this (or any other) claimed contribution, let alone authorized further credit card charges. Consequently, the mailing is an example of attempted political mail fraud. Individuals or organizations appear to be locally using the US mail to make deliberately false misrepresentations concerning political actors.?This goes beyond the scope of free speech; it is a disinformation campaign taking place solely for the purpose of disorienting those in receipt of this or similar imposter mailings. Voters receiving such mail are being victimized and deserve to know who are the disguised perpetrators engaged in such anti-democratic behavior?
