?Starting from October 1, 2024, the Zanzibar government will implement a Mandatory Inbound Travel Insurance policy for all tourists. This insurance is designed to provide comprehensive protection during their stay on the island, covering a wide range of travel-related incidents and emergencies.

• Insurance Provider: Zanzibar Insurance Corporation (mandatory, even if you already have other travel insurance)
• Cost: US$44 per person
• Coverage Duration: Up to 92 days
• Coverage Includes: Health issues, lost baggage, accidents, emergency evacuation, passport loss, repatriation, legal liability, and more.

We would recommend that you arrange this insurance at the time of your initial deposit for your trip. If you have already confirmed your booking, we encourage you to purchase the insurance as soon as possible to protect your journey.
