Important Questions

Important Questions

If you have followed any of my posts or articles you understand how important questions are to me in discovering TRUTH. Questions help us to cut through lies and deceit to uncover facts on which we can make better decisions, develop creative and innovative new ways of doing things, and solve problems we encounter. Today I want to reveal some of the most important questions you might ask yourself and why.

1.????? Have you developed a clear and actionable Purpose Statement for your life? If able to do so you have identified the basic meaning and values of your life. These are foundational TRUTHS on which you operate and relate to others. I presented mine in an article I previously wrote, but I continue to refine it and discover deeper meaning.

2.????? Have you identified priority areas of your life that align with your purpose? Your priorities direct your life and help to make the best of the time you have available. Since none of us know how long this might be, we need to establish priorities and follow them to the best of our abilities. How else can you hope to reach your full purpose?

3.????? Am I willing to adjust or even change my thoughts, priorities, and beliefs? This is a tough one because of the forces at play to get you to doubt yourself, accept what you are being told, and try to get you to vary from TRUTH. Where we may need to be flexible, based on new ideas, information, or perspectives, we must also hold true to the TRUTHS we believe.

4.????? Am I doing all I can to stay healthy, improve my knowledge and mental health, and to continue to develop in everything I do? Let’s be honest. Can anyone truly answer “yes” to this one? Striving is the important thing. Openness to new ideas and ways of thinking are important and necessary, but there is also an element that says, “be true to who you are” and do not allow yourself to be swayed by the evil forces of this world. One of these is the notion that you are “not good enough” or that you “do not have what it takes.”

5.????? Are you a thought leader? Thought Leaders are individuals who use their insight and knowledge to effect change in the world. They become the trusted sources who move and inspire people with innovative ideas; turn ideas into reality and know and show how to replicate their success. Thought Leaders ask great questions to gain knowledge and understanding and use this information to create positive change.

6.????? Are you asking great questions? The prominent psychiatrist Carl Jung once stated, “To ask the right question is already half the solution of a problem.” Asking great questions is a skill — one that can be practiced and developed over time. But asking great questions is only half of what is needed.? You must also be able to actively listen and understand what is being said beyond a simple answer.

Questions are powerful tools for learning and understanding. They provide facts, information, real knowledge, and confidence for making decisions. Asking great questions is an art and a skill that can be developed with practice and intent. Not everyone asks great or powerful questions; fewer still actively listen and are able to capture and apply the information shared.

OneTRUTH Leadership is about taking a transformational leadership approach to explore all the possibilities of an individual, organization, and of leadership; to help you see things others do not see, feel things others do not feel, and believe things others do not believe possible. To persevere when others want to quit and give up. I will be glad to help.
