Dear Friends & Colleagues,
It’s that time of year again for my 50 mile Challenge Walk MS to benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society! On September 25th I will be walking three days from Leucadia to downtown San Diego.
I choose to participate in Challenge Walk MS not because I have a family member or a friend with MS, but because I had a coworker who had the disease and I saw what an incredibly positive impact the National MS Society made her daily life. One phone call and the National MS Society was there. From coordinating the care of her child, to driving her to and from doctors’ appointments, to helping her get and take her medications. I was so impressed with the National MS Society’s care giving quality that I knew I had to support them. That was 5 Challenge Walk’s ago and in September, I am honored to be participating in my 6th.
This year’s Challenge Walk hopes to raise $1 million to create a world free of MS. I have made a commitment to raise $2,500 to participate and hope to surpass this amount. I REALLY need your help to do it! Please donate. I am less than 20% of my goal. What can you afford? If everyone gave $10 we would be way over what we need. I have a lot of connections and friends on Linked in!!!!
