IMPORTANT BUSINESS LESSONS I LEARNED DURING MY CANCER FIGHT

When I was diagnosed with cancer in 2006 my business (www.vip-global.com) was booming and it had become an international, multimillion dollar operation, within the Energy sector. I was a busy CEO, mother, wife and daughter. The cancer news simply overwhelmed and crashed my soul and the road ahead of me seemed impossible and unsurmountable.
During my fight I learned many important lessons. One of them is choosing to regularly practice GRATITUDE. I Learned that gratitude is the most powerful tool we have available to manage the worries and fears of life and the world. Counting our blessings one by one, can help you develop a new vision and mission.
Another valuable lesson I learned was FAITH. Your beliefs are what give you hope and you need much HOPE to fight a cancer. These principles have also become valuable in my work and business life. If you want to accomplish something, set realistic goals, have FAITH in yourself and a heart full of GRATITUTE. If someone tells you that a goal is impossible, it is up to you to accept such affirmation or to reject it. If you believe the goal can be reached, it is up to you to make it happen. Then, put your wheels in motion, focus and work towards that goal with all your heart, mind and soul; and you will see miracles happen in your life.
Many people give up on their dreams of success because someone has told them it was “impossible.” You can either believe what others say, or you can look deep inside of you and find the faith, strength and resolve to make things happen.
Life, work, education or any other task will continue to be impossible, difficult, challenging or overwhelming, until you find it within yourself the resolution to start on a new journey and the necessary faith and gratitude to move forward.
Making a new resolution and making determined decisions will put your destiny in your own hands. If you begin to believe in yourself, develop gratitude towards others and what you have, and you take the necessary steps to make your dreams a reality, then your road in life is no longer unsurmountable.
