Your Resume is the most important document you will submit in your job search, which will determine whether you are in the running for your potential dream job or not.
Hence it is vital to ensure that this document paints you in the best light, in the eyes of potential employers.

Based on our extensive experience, here are some tips we would recommend you follow if you want your resume to be at the top of a recruiters pile:
1. Have a compelling CV summary
Your CV summary or personal profile is the introduction to your CV. It should be 3–5 lines long and answer these 3 main questions:

2. Tailor your CV
Ensure your CV is properly targeted to the job you’re applying for.
It’s better to take the time to submit one perfectly tailored CV that includes the pertinent keywords, job experience and educational background that align with the requirements of the job profile.
3. Call attention to important achievements
Only select your top three or four most important achievements from your previous role Where possible, include statistics that are relevant to your goal or achievement.
4. Add some extras
Another way to make you stand out from the crowd, would be to include your hobbies and interests, awards, projects, foreign languages and certificates.
5. Proofread Proofread Proofread!
Spelling and grammatical errors in a CV are a big no no. Always check your CV for errors, and then use a tool like Grammarly to help spot any errors you’ve missed. A 2nd pair of eyes may also help.
