yes!! visual aids is an integral part of my modules, because the way the audience accept your words is completely out of your control, by imparting pictures and videos in the presentation makes the module interesting and visually apprehensive .
More over the audience will automatically go through the contents if its pictures, and there by the facilitator will be completely able to take the audience in his/her hands, as everybody know that in the new changing world nobody wants to listen any thing nor like guidance, by imparting visual aids in the modules the way is open for the audience to look at the same and have an understanding other than giving a complete lecture which will be boring as well as un-productive at many situations.
By having a visual aid a mental image or mental picture is being created which is the representation in a person's mind of the physical world outside of that person. It is an experience that, on most occasions, significantly resembles the experience of perceiving some object, event, or scene, but occurs when the relevant object, event, or scene is not actually present to the senses. And also remember that communication which is visual is remembered more than the words that comes from your mouth.
So facilitators be good designers and always think outside the box.
