The importance of tertiary air temperature in cement kiln

Many cement producer need to increase tertiary air temperatur to increase combustion and calcination furthermore increasing thermal substitutioin ratio(TSR)

But as the operation time increase, the temperature decrease more and more

There are several ways to prevent temperature drop, but I would like to introduce a relatively easy method

If waste oil is injected into the entrance of the tertiary air duct, the temperature can be raised by about 200℃

As you know waste oil is very cheap than fine coal and has high heat value around 15,000kJ

I have experienced applying this method and finally raised temperature from 800℃ to 1,000℃

and TSR increased from 35% to 40% without spending a lot of money
