Friendly reminder to never underestimate the importance of a team off site meeting. Why? Here are 10 reasons that come to mind after our Public Sector & Labor team off site in Atlanta this week. Thanks for bringing us together, Jeff Peacock .

  • Meet new leaders and co-workers (welcome, Bill Otten !)
  • Build camaraderie (especially important in a remote working environment)
  • Spark creativity (highly recommend including a few folks from supporting teams if possible)
  • Celebrate success (demonstrates potential for all)
  • Recognize Value (builds confidence throughout the team)
  • Refocus on Common Goal (keep the main thing the main thing (stole that line from my buddy Benjamin Dickinson ))
  • Get organized (especially important heading into a new year)
  • Identify strengths (who knew Inga Pedersen was a ringer at bowling!?!)
  • Boost productivity (work smarter not harder; identify what's working and what isn't)
  • Build trust (builds a strong sense of belonging and encourages folks to speak up)
