Importance of Search Engine Integration with Digital Marketing~ DigitalHawk





Search Engine Optimization (SEO) helps in improving a website’s rank on the Search Engine Results Page. It is an attractive proposition, especially for small business owners, since it a low-cost technique that has the potential to create a tsunami in terms of visibility and eventually convert leads and generate prospects. However, we now live in the age of assistance, where the consumers are not satisfied only with general awareness. The consumers willingly invest their time and resources in dedicated research before making an informed decision about any product or service. 

Google processes 40,000 search queries every second. Interestingly, the first page of Google Search Results captures as high as 92% of the searched traffic clicks. This indicates that in order to be visible and relevant to people online, any product or service provider with a website needs to rank high. This is where SEO can provide immense value. 


 Old SEO factors are almost redundant, and the ones, which continue to persist, are almost unrecognizable from their past versions concerning both operation and criterion. 

 Search Engines, most notably Google, is still an all-too-powerful tool that millions are still using on an almost hourly basis, but the rules have changed quite noticeably. As time passes on and the internet serves as a zeitgeist to our very own culture and social fabric, one cannot help but wonder how simplistic these things used to be in the past.

The profession or subject of interest and study has become a challenging, creative and encompassing activity with stress echoing on the very same adjectives. The consumer of the results exhibited in part by the search engines expects something that is inherent in quality, engagement and social proof, all at the very same time. Over time, the consumers are getting more familiar with the usage of the Internet. This is reflected in their changing search behavior and approach to gain more information. They are looking for real-time engagement, value addition and an almost hand-held support orientation in making decisions. Moreover, search engines are also continually improving their algorithms to cater to this evolved consumer by ensuring that a contextually relevant search result is provided on the front segment of the search optimization panels.

Considering that the consumers are changing and the search engines are also changing, it is almost logical to rethink the traditional SEO practices. The isolated approach of making quick technical fixes to the website is not suitable anymore to cater to the comprehensive needs of value and research-driven consumer. A better, evolved and integrated approach which aims at assisting the consumer at every point in his new decision-making journey is of pivotal importance.

This new SEO approach should go beyond making individual on-site and off-site optimizations. The SEO, integration and the process need to be a central theme and goal in the Digital Marketing team’s target consumer research phase, website UI/UX design phase, content creation phase as well as the content delivery phase. This also means a revisit of the business marketing channels. For example, SEO practices in combination with Social Media Marketing. 


Search Algorithms and new approaches

All the factors considered, searching for stuff on the internet is still said to be in a relative state of infancy. The keywords, which substitute as probable search words for users, are steadily being expanded upon concerning a variety of factors. Moreover, social media has pretty much upended the entire online experience of every person on the internet. As such, search factors are not only being designed based upon a simple set of words but with attitude, perspective and a whole set of other specifics as well.

Forms and media of marketing

With the rising preference of quality over quantity, facts over thoughts, and engagement over everything else, it is in the prediction that the more traditional forms of offline marketing are continually implemented within a digital environment. Marketing through search engines like Google and Bing are also slated to undergo a major upheaval with the importance of paid ads and promotions getting less critical with each passing year, and alternate media to market such as video, presentations, getting more interest and a greater sense of engagement within the current cultural and socio-economic spectrum.

As a result, there would inevitably be some noticeable change within a particular point in time soon. This change or transformation would not stop, however; it would inevitably be processed by individuals, teams and other parties in search of something that is intrinsically and objectively better. Digital marketing formulas and trends would continue to change just as they are doing as of this moment, and it might be seen as an essential contributor to humans’ next evolutionary step.

It is essential to keep in mind that the fundamental principle is still to get an official Search Engine Result ranking. The difference is that an integrated SEO approach engages multiple resources to achieve that goal and is not just dependent on optimizations in the business website.
