SAM Model (Successive approximation Model)

The SAM Process is divided into three phases with each containing deliverable Milestones.

Each phase has the purpose of moving a learning Project towards the completion by defining?treatments, challenging the design for appropriateness & building the final Deliverable. At First? this process may imply Linear workflow, However the work with each phase is iterative & supports? the transition from defining design to development of final product.?

SAM is an Iterative prototype model, through which the prototype evolved into the final product. It works through small steps, frequently taking measures to assure work proceeding through the right phrase.?

A. Preparation Phase

During the preparation Process, the Project Team determines the key aspect?that will help set the Target, Identify special issues & rule out options.?

It’s a brainstorming event, in which the design team & key stakeholder review collected background information & generated design ideas. This phase of the design process?begins with jumping into the solution stakeholders may already have in mind. It is important to get these ideas on the table as soon as possible, because they are invaluable for determining who is really in charge & what outcomes are essential to success.?

B. Iterative Design Process

After the preparation phase, the process enters the iterative design phrase .

This is the time to continue the design, prototype, evaluate process that already started in the Savvy start to test out design treatments & approaches.

This phrase marks the designing treatments to the construction of the instructional product.

The first deliverable is the Design Proof,

The Design Proof is a Visual & Functional demonstration of the proposed solution that incorporates all components to test & validate. After the review of Design Proof , Alpha production begins,

The Alpha is the first completed version of product/instruction to be validated against the approved design. After review of Alpha stage, the beta production phrase begins, This process begins on the basis of review of Alpha Process. And error list beta is considered the first gold release.

The gold release is the final deliverable for implementation.

This project can be implemented with the certainty that all issues have been discussed & addressed, given the Time, budget & other constraints of this project.
