While friendly and professional debate and disagreement between work colleagues is appropriate, and indeed will often lead to a better outcome if it is managed correctly, workplace conflict is the opposite of that and can impede workplace relationships and the overall performance of the business
Workplace conflict can have many causes but whatever the cause is it must be dealt with. There are many possible solutions to workplace conflict including
1 ) Regular Meetings between Managers and their employees which will hopefully mean that potential problems can be brought to the surface
2) Development and implementation of grievance procedures within the business
3) Resolving the conflict by mediation or other forms of conflict resolution
