" Importance of numbers in business "

What is the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear about numbers in business. For me it is profit. Every organization wants to do two things, one is maximization of the profit and another one is enhancing the wealth of the shareholders but one more thing is there, that is satisfying the people, here people are, customers or employees or vendors or anybody who is important for the organization. For these things to happen organizations need to show the numbers.

* Market share of the company in a particular industry is very important to know. There also numbers vary like volume and value wise.

* After all the expenditure in margin, organizations get profit. From that company's growth can be calculated.

* And each asset's performance or any default is also calculated in numbers.

People trust or show interest when organizations show everything in simple numbers. Numbers can tell so many stories. Organizations think and work a lot to make a decision. Because all the above points get satisfied when organizations make correct decision.

But taking decision is not an easy thing, should do SWOT analysis and think out of the box and then make a move.
