Having seen more than around 500+ pitch decks from pre-seed and seed startups across the MENA region, I can say one thing with complete guarantee – The slide ‘Meet the Team’ / ‘About the Team’ is the most under rated despite being a key decision factor in most cases

I have listed down 10 key points on the ‘Meet the Team’ / ‘About the Team’ slide:

1.?????Do not underestimate this slide as at pre-seed and seed stage the company is equal to the Founders and vice versa

2.?????If this slide looks like a collage of photos, then you are getting it wrong

3.?????Showcase the Founders upfront

4.?????Showcase only the key members beyond Founders. Eg – The CTO is a key element in the success of the team start-ups so even if he is not a founding member, he / she must be on the slide
