Importance of Faith & Values to be President

The election process in 2024 abolished traditional pre-election primary process, thus cancelling fourteen million primary votes for President Joe Biden. Instead, democratic leadership choose Vice President Harris. As a result, the United States may end up with someone who is not pre-qualified to be President of the World’s most powerful country.

One of the most important qualifications for any president is their Faith and Values claims. Legendary NFL coach Tony Dungy responded to Kamala Harris’ pro-abortion position. Harris posted on social media a claim that she made during her debate with Donald Trump.??In an X post, Harris said, “One does not have to abandon their faith or deeply held beliefs to agree: The government, and certainly Donald Trump, should not be telling a woman what to do with her body.”?

Tony Dungy, former football?star and analyst ?for NBC Sports and national spokesperson for the pro-family group?“All Pro Dad ,” said, “Dear VP Harris: I hear you make this statement all the time. Exactly what ‘faith’ are you talking about when you say you don’t have to abandon it to support abortion?”??

“Are you talking about the Christian faith that says all babies are made in the image of God (Gen 1:26), that God places them in the womb (Jer 1:5) and that we should not take any life unjustly (Luke 18:20)?? Are you talking about that faith or some nebulous, general ‘faith’ that says we’re good enough, and smart enough to make our own decisions?? What ‘faith’ are you talking about?”?

Kamala Harris vows to sign federal pro-abortion law, pro-LGBT ‘Equality Act’ in the DEMs campaign platform . On September 10, during the presidential debate between Trump and Harris the NAACP had sent a post supporting the false claim that late-term abortions (up to the end of the ninth month) do not happen in the U. S.??

Dungy told his followers that in Florida, where he lives, pro-abortion Amendment 4 would allow precisely that.??“Please don’t distort the facts to make a point,” Dungy said.?

During a town hall event in Michigan with Oprah Winfrey, Harris [again] repeated the lie that a Georgia woman named Amber Nicole Thurman died because of Donald Trump’s position on abortion.??The truth is that her death was caused by “complications from legal abortion drugs and gross medical malpractice. She should have been treated immediately by physicians who instead waited too long to act. Georgia’s pro-life law is not the issue.”?

This week Dungy also?criticized ?a woman who blasphemously claimed that Jesus would be an abortion facility “escort.” He?responded ?to another user that it is right to be “appalled” at rape and that “we should have compassion for those women who have to carry on with life after that, but my thought is penalize the rapist, don’t kill the baby. It’s still a life.”?[The mother could have also offered the child for adoption to those who cannot have children.]

Dungy won the Super Bowl in 2007 as the head coach of the Indianapolis Colts.?Dungy also played for the Pittsburgh Steelers defense in 1978, winning an NFL championship that year against the Dallas Cowboys.
