Seeing is Believing

Seeing is Believing

We had the pleasure of attending a trade show this past Thursday in Plympton, Ma. to display some of our current products.  A couple of things occurred to me while in attendance here.  One, this is a small show with a modest level of attendance.  Two, it only takes one connection to make all the effort worth while.

In this fast paced, digital age of technology there is still no substitute for your customers to understand what you do or have to offer like seeing it with their own eyes.  In our industry the products that we offer just don't shine on-line or in a brochure.  Our customers want and need to see the quality of what we have in person.  I think it is like that for most products.  Customers will gather research on-line, but at the end of the day they need to see it.  And further still in our business they want to see it in action.  That's why we offer full product demos whenever we have the opportunity.

We didn't talk to a lot of people at this past show, but the ones we did were definitely interested in the equipment we had on display.  We walked away from it with several new contacts and potential for some on site product demos to schedule.  Whether we saw one person who we would not have otherwise had the opportunity to meet or someone we have been doing business with for years, I'd say it was worth the effort.  Our customers want to see us as an active company on the scene with the latest products for their needs.  You never know where that next long term customer is going to come from.  It is important to stay current.  Once you stop putting yourself in the way of opportunity to create and foster new business relationships as well as maintain the ones you have, you are heading in the wrong direction.

Here's some of the products we had on display at the past show in Massachusetts:  Camel 1200, Falcon Asphalt Repair equipment, and the Schwarze M6 Avalanche Street Sweeper

You can also find us at these other product expos:  New England Public Works Expo  and the CASHO Equipment Show.

We hope to see you there.
