Employee voice engagement has a role in enhancing workplace productivity through enhances employee engagement. Engaging employee voice develops creativity, task effectiveness and enhances retention (Antony, 2018, p.37). Many HR scholars present a body of evidence that links employee voice to augmented productivity levels for individual and organizational objectives. Listening to employees and enabling them to air their opinions promotes a healthy workplace and relieves heavy workloads and aspects of miscommunication (CIPD, 2021). Therefore, focusing on communication with employees improves performance and decreases job pile up leading to productivity.
Emerging developments in employee voice and engagement demonstrate that it enhances knowledge development, sharing, and innovation. When workers understand that managers hear their voices, they are more open to sharing task ideas, discussing improvement openly, and focusing on meeting their job goals (Jha et al. 2019, p.5). Therefore, managers should encourage employees to speak out and develop each other in the job environment.
Additionally, acknowledging employee voice increases engagement and decreases occupational mistakes. Also, engagement increases managers' opportunity to receive feedback that creates growth and development through improving processes, policies, and overall company culture. Besides, when employees feel heard, understood, and valued, it reduces absenteeism at work since workers value their work (Jha et al. 2019, p.5). Furthermore, improving engagement is a tool for higher retention levels and improve productivity. Therefore, managers should encourage employees to speak out, interact freely and ask questions to build a formidable family in the workplace.

1 年Great post Malek! Here are two studies that support your point of view: A study by Boxall and Macky (2014) found that organizations implementing high-performance work practices, coupled with mechanisms that encourage employee voice, experienced higher levels of innovation and overall performance. Additionally, research by May et al. (2018) demonstrated that organizations with a strong focus on employee voice and involvement achieved better customer satisfaction and financial performance metrics.
