I am going to tell you a story about washing a car.?
Picture yourself washing a car. You get a bucket, your hose, a sponge. You fill the bucket with water, you're ready to wash. You hose down the car. Then you use the sponge to spread the water around to get it as clean as you can. Try your damndest to wash the car as good as you can, using all the elbow grease you have. How’s it look? It looks like shit and doesn’t make the car look much better.
Now add soap to the equation.?
Now, picture yourself washing the car with soap added. You pour in a few drops of soap in your bucket, you mix it around and plunge your sponge to absorb the water and soap. The suds expand in the soap, and you are ready. You used the same effort you did before when you scrubbed the car hard as you could.
With soap, it actually makes the clean quicker, better, and smoother because the sponge slides down the door panels, the hood, and roof with ease now. With the help soap, the remaining sludge is removed. This time when you are done, it looks spectacular. It’s a job you are proud of.?
Doing just 2% more made the job better, and saved time. Yes it took you 2% longer to prepare, but you finish the whole job quicker. The quality of work is night and day. That 2% made all the difference.
